If no record of the death is found by the Manitoba Vital Statistics Agency, fees will be applied to the search cost and will not be refunded by the Agency.

A Manitoba Death Certificate is an extract of the information provided on the registration. It contains the name, sex, and age of the deceased at time of death as well as the date of death, registration number, date of registration, and date issued.
A Certified Copy of a Manitoba Death Registration is a photocopy of the actual death registration. The photocopy is certified as a true copy of the original.
