If no record of a Search of Wills Notice is found by the British Columbia Vital Statistics Agency, fees will be applied to the search cost and will not be refunded by the Agency.

If the deceased filed a will notice prior to their passing, the result of the search will provide the date the person signed the wills notice, the location of the will at that time, and the date the Vital Statistics Agency received the wills notice.
