If no record of the death is found by the Saskatchewan Vital Statistics Agency, fees will be applied to the search cost and will not be refunded by the Agency.

Saskatchewan Vital Statistics requires that you provide documentation to verify your identity for your protection.
A Saskatchewan Death Certificate is an extract of the information provided on the registration. It contains the full name, sex, date of death, place of death, sex, registration number, and date of registration.
A Saskatchewan Genealogical Copy of Registration of Death is a copy of the death registration stamped “For Genealogy Only” and is only available for events that took place over 70 years ago.
