Birth Certificates are available for order from this website for events that occurred within the Province of Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Birth Certificate

IMPORTANT:  No more than a maximum of 3 certificates or certified copies will be issued at one time. All delivery times quoted are average delivery times and cannot be guaranteed. If you are applying for a birth certificate for a particular agency or organization, it is best to check with them to determine what type of birth certificate they require from you.

Includes basic information, including subject's name, place and date of birth.

A birth certificate with parental information is required in order to obtain a passport for a child. Includes the same information as a birth certificate, along with the name of each parent listed on the birth registration and their place of birth. Recommended for children under the age of 16.

A certified copy of birth registration is not recommended as a form of identification and is only required to meet certain legal requirements. It is a copy of the original birth registration and has been certified a true copy by Vital Statistics.
