If no record of the marriage is found by the Northwest Territories Vital Statistics Agency, fees will be applied to the search cost and will not be refunded by the Agency.

The Northwest Territories Small Marriage Certificate contains the names of both parties, date of marriage, place of marriage, registration number, and registration date.
The Northwest Territories Marriage Certificate contains the same information as the Small Marriage Certificate plus the birth places of both parties.
A Northwest Territories Certified Copy of Marriage Registration is a certified copy of the actual registration filled out at the time of marriage. This copy is certified as a true copy of the original.
